Another Jolt to Cong : Ludhiana MP Ravneet Bittu joins BJP

Ludhiana MP Ravneet Singh Bittu joins BJP.

Just before the Lok Sabha elections, Punjab Congress has suffered another major setback. Senior Punjab Congress leader Ravneet Singh Bittu has joined BJP. He is a sitting MP from Ludhiana.

Ravneet Singh Bittu, considered close to Rahul Gandhi and also considered a big face of Punjab Congress.

Ravneet Singh Bittu had previously served as the leader of Congress in Lok Sabha from March to July 2021. Bittu was elected to the Lok Sabha, from Ludhiana in 2014, 2019 Assembly elections and earlier from Anandpur Sahib in 2009.  In January 2021, he was assaulted at the Singhu border during a ‘Jan Sansad’ program.

He joins BJP at party headquarters in New Delhi. After joining Ravneet Bittu said that all other states are developing and we will do same in the Punjab with the help of BJP Party.

He thanked PM Narendra Modi for make them join BJP. He said that PM Narendra Modi did a lot for Punjab and we will work as bridge for the people of Punjab.
