Arvind Kejriwal reaches Amritsar: Denied talks changing CM , affirms Bhagwant Mann will serve full 5 years

Amritsar: On the completion of 3 years of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab today, 16 March, party convenor Arvind Kejriwal along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal and CM Bhagwant Mann have reached the Golden Temple in Amritsar. From here they will also visit Durgiana Temple and Ramtirtha.

During this, Arvind Kejriwal said that Bhagwant Mann will complete 5 years as the Chief Minister of Punjab and will remain the Chief Minister for the next 5 years as well. Kejriwal said that we have to serve the poor in Punjab. We have to get justice for the people. We have to end drug addiction and corruption. For this, we have come to seek the blessings of the Gurus.

CM Bhagwant Mann said- There is a war going on against drugs and corruption in Punjab. We have given 52 thousand jobs. Arvind Kejriwal kept working to fulfill the guarantees given and to build Rangla Punjab, that is why he has come to seek the blessings of the gurus.

Let us tell you that Kejriwal was in Vipassana in Hoshiarpur for 10 days. Kejriwal reached Amritsar just yesterday. Where he went to the house of former minister Inderbir Nijjar and met him.

Today he will also hold a meeting with the MLAs of Punjab. Earlier also Congress had claimed that 35 MLAs are in touch with them. After which Kejriwal had also called a meeting of the MLAs in Delhi.

This is Kejriwal’s first visit to Punjab after the party lost power in Delhi after 10 years. There is also talk of him going to Rajya Sabha from Punjab because Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora has been made the AAP candidate for the by-election from Ludhiana West seat. Kejriwal will also campaign for Arora on Monday.
