Surjit Singh, the Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) in Ayodhya, was discovered dead under unclear circumstances at his home in the Sursari Colony, Civil Lines area of Kotwali Nagar. The cause of his death is not yet known, and an investigation is currently ongoing, with officials including the divisional commissioner and district magistrate present at the scene.
Singh was reportedly found at home in the morning. Following the discovery, police and officials quickly arrived to assess the situation.
