Chamba: Bharmour of Chamba, the car went out of control and fell into a 400-meter-deep ditch. A young man died in the accident. As per the information, he was returning home after getting his niece admitted to Medical College Chamba.
The accident happened late Thursday night on Sunara Kundi Road. The deceased has been identified as Anu Kumar, who is a resident of village Andraund Panchayat Brehi. The accident was so severe that the car was blown to pieces and the driver died on the spot. The deceased’s wife had given birth to a child just 10 days ago.
According to the information, the accident happened at a distance of just 100 meters from the deceased’s house. The body of the deceased remained in the ditch throughout the night and the people around did not even know about it. In the morning, when the mule owners came out for their daily work, they saw the crashed vehicle.
The police reached the spot and took the body in their possession and sent it to Medical College Chamba for postmortem. The police have registered a case and started investigating the causes of the accident.
