Chandigarh: Weather will change in Haryana from tonight. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain with strong winds and thunderstorms in most parts of the state on January 22 and 23.
Clouds were seen in Jind, Hisar and surrounding areas since Tuesday morning. However, as the day progressed, the sun also came out here. Fog was seen in Yamunanagar in the morning.
A day earlier on Monday, the maximum temperature of most districts of the state was recorded above 20 degrees. Bright sunshine also came out during the day, which gave some relief to the people from the cold. If the weather changes from tonight, then the temperature may fall again.
Fog may also cover many places
According to the Agricultural Meteorology Department of Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University, the weather will remain dry throughout the day on January 21. However, cold north and north-western winds will blow at night, there are also chances of fog at some places, due to which the cold may increase at night. There will be rainy weather for two days. After 23, the weather will become dry again.
3 western disturbances became active till now
The first western disturbance in Haryana became active on January 5, the second on January 11 and the third on January 15, due to which light to moderate rain was seen in the state. Out of these, two western disturbances were weak, but heavy rain was seen due to one western disturbance.
