New Delhi: The farmers protesting at Shambhu border of Haryana-Punjab have announced Delhi march on 21st January. Farmer leader Sarwan Pandher said that 101 farmers will participate in it. He said that the central government is not yet ready for talks, so the movement will be intensified.
Earlier also, farmers have tried to march to Delhi 3 times in the month of December, but all three times Haryana Police stopped them at the barricade.
Let us tell you that farmers have been protesting at Shambhu and Khanauri border for 11 months regarding the MSP guarantee law. Farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal has been on a hunger strike for 52 days at Khanauri border. His condition remains critical. In his support, 111 farmers are on hunger strike for the second consecutive day.
Dallewal’s condition is deteriorating, he is also having difficulty in speaking
According to the doctors, Dallewal’s health is deteriorating while he is on hunger strike. He is also having difficulty in speaking. Now his body is eating itself. His BP is constantly fluctuating. Dallewal has made it clear that he will not get treatment until the central government listens to him. However, the government has built a temporary hospital near the front. Also, a team of about 50 doctors has been deployed. Apart from this, doctors from private institutions are also examining him.
The Supreme Court summoned all medical reports, will take opinion from AIIMS
A hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Wednesday regarding Dallewal’s hunger strike. During this, the court has summoned all the reports related to Dallewal’s health from the Punjab government. Regarding which the court will take the opinion of AIIMS. Earlier during the hearing, the Punjab government first talked about improvement in Dallewal’s condition, but when the Supreme Court asked about this, it said that his condition is stable.
However, Dallewal has earlier written letters to the Prime Minister, Vice President, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and saints and great men of all religions. Also demanded that the government be asked to fulfill other conditions including MSP guarantee.
Meeting with SKM on January 18
The United Kisan Morcha (SKM) has also supported this movement of Samyukta Kisan Morcha (non-political) and Kisan Mazdoor Morcha. A meeting of farmer leaders will be held on January 18 to formulate a strategy in this regard. In which a plan will be made to surround Delhi for the second time. At the same time, on January 26, a tractor march will be taken out across the country on the occasion of Republic Day.
