New Delhi: Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport is enhancing its flight services, beginning today with direct flights to Bengaluru, Kolkata, and Goa. Additionally, flights to Chennai and Jammu are scheduled to start on March 22.
Air India Express has opened online bookings for these five destinations, allowing passengers in Ghaziabad and surrounding areas to avoid the need to travel to Delhi Airport for flights to these cities.
Previously, Hindon Airport offered direct flights to only five locations: Bathinda, Ludhiana, Kishangarh, Adampur, and Nanded. The new routes to Bengaluru, Kolkata, Goa, Chennai, and Jammu significantly improve the airport’s connectivity.
On March 22, along with the introduction of flights to Chennai and Jammu, a second daily flight to Bengaluru will also commence. Plans are in place to add flights to Prayagraj, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Varanasi, Pune, and Mumbai in the near future, further expanding Hindon Airport’s network.
With this expansion, Air India Express will operate from both Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi and Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad.
On February 24, Air India Express announced its new services via X, stating: “Now, take off from Hindon.
