Give up your ego now and talk to farmers

Delhi: The senior congress leader and Member Parliament Priyanaka Gandhi Vadra on Thursday appealed to Prime Minister Narendera Modi to talk immediately with farmers and end the fast-fading farmer leader Dallewal hunger strike.

In a post on X, Priyana Gandhi Vadra in hindi shared “Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal has been on a hunger strike for 45 days. His condition is continuously deteriorating. But the BJP government is not ready to take care of him. This stubbornness took the lives of 750 farmers in the farmers’ movement. Why so much cruelty towards farmers?”

“I appeal to the Prime @narendramodi to please give up your ego and immediately talk to the farmers and end Dallewal ji’s hunger strike.”

Notably Jagjit Singh Dallewal the fasting farmer leader is on hunger strike since November 26.

The leader, along with hundreds of other farmers are on protest in Khanauri border demanding Minimum Support Price (MSP) for their crops.
