Haryana Reports 3 New COVID-19 Cases, Tally Rises to 16

Haryana: Haryana reported three new COVID-19 cases—one in Faridabad and two in Gurugram on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. The individual from Faridabad had recently returned from Mumbai. After developing a fever, he underwent testing and was confirmed positive for the virus. The district health department promptly instructed him to remain in home isolation.

Meanwhile, the two patients in Gurugram have also been placed under home isolation. With these new cases, the total number of COVID-19 patients in Gurugram has risen to eight, while the overall count in Haryana has increased to sixteen.

According to the health department, all three patients are fully vaccinated and have no recent international travel history. After the increase in cases, the department has issued a new advisory regarding masks and sanitization.

On the other hand, a young man from Ambala who had gone to meet his father in Punjab’s Ferozepur has been found to be Corona positive. He had got tested when his health deteriorated.

A person who returned from Mumbai in Faridabad was found infected

The person found infected from Faridabad on Tuesday is 45 years old and a resident of Sector-41. Recently he had gone to Mumbai for some work. When he returned from there, he felt feverish. After which he got the corona test done. The person’s sample was taken on May 25 and his report has come today (May 27). Deputy Chief Medical Officer Dr. Rambhagat said that the infected person does not have fever at this time. Still, he has been instructed to stay in home isolation.

2 vaccinated persons in Gurugram test positive for Corona

Gurugram’s Deputy CMO Dr. JP Rajliwal said that a 50-year-old man from Sector 24 was found Covid positive. The patient’s condition is stable and he is in isolation at home. Health officials are investigating the source of infection. He said that the second patient was found in Sector 48. Here the corona report of a 40-year-old man has been found positive. He also has no travel history and the symptoms are mild. They are under observation at home. Both do private jobs.

A youth who went to Ferozepur from Ambala got corona

A youth was found corona infected in Ferozepur, Punjab on Tuesday. The youth is a resident of Ambala. He works in a private company in Gurugram. He had come to Ferozepur to meet his father. His father works in the railways. After reaching Ferozepur, the youth’s health deteriorated. The health department got him tested. The report came positive on Tuesday. The youth has been kept in home isolation. His treatment is ongoing.

Health department issued new advisory After getting new cases in Gurugram, the health department has issued a new advisory, under which people have been appealed to follow rules like masks and sanitization. Investigation of both the cases is going on so that it can be understood how the virus spread. CMO Alka Singh held a meeting with private hospitals and Indian Medical Association (IMA) regarding Corona.
