Hisar : In the Hisar district of Haryana district administration organize Walkathon program and run voting awareness campaign is being run in the entire state to ensure maximum voting in the sixth phase of Lok Sabha elections to be held on May 25 in Haryana. In this series, a walkathon will be organized in Hisar city on Sunday, May 12. Hisar Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya will participate in the program as chief guest. The special thing is that people of all age groups can participate in the walkathon which starts at 6 am.
Hisar Municipal Magistrate Honey Bansal said that the walkathon will start from Mahavir Stadium in the morning and then pass through Lakshmibai Chowk and Fawara Chowk and end back at Mahavir Stadium itself. Before this, Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dahiya will flag off the walkathon at 6 am on Sunday. Thousands of participants from all age groups including students, sportspersons, elderly, women will participate in the walkathon.
