Husband sets wife on fire in Panipat, latter’s sister lodges complaint

In Haryana’s Panipat city, a husband of Chandnibagh police station area, along with his first wife and brother, poured petrol on the woman and set her on fire. After this, he informed his in-laws that the accident happened while making tea. During treatment at Rohtak PGI, the woman told her ordeal to her sister. The woman died during treatment. After this the sister of the deceased has complained about the matter to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case of murder against the husband, first wife, and husband’s brother.

In the complaint given to Chandnibagh police station, Gomti said that she is a resident of Rasulabad Kanpur. They were three sisters. In which the middle sister was Gauri Priya. Who was married to Akash resident village Jalapur, district Hardoi UP in the year 2022. Both of them were living in Panipat for the last about 2 months. Both used to work as laborers in factories here.

On March 9, Akash informed me that your sister Gauri Priya got caught in fire while making tea on a gas cylinder in the room above the factory. She is admitted in Rohtak PGI for treatment. On receiving the information, she reached Rohtak PGI to meet her sister.

Where on the evening of March 9, Gauri Priya told her that your brother-in-law Akash, along with his first wife Siki resident of Kannauj UP and his brother Ravi, had poured kerosene on her and set her on fire to kill her. They wanted to kill her. Gauri Priya died on March 16 during treatment.
