New Delhi: Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, expressed that his success and current position are the result of divine guidance and blessings, rather than solely his own abilities. He emphasized that material wealth and personal needs are secondary, as his purpose is guided by a higher power. He shared these thoughts during an interaction with Guru Prasad Swami Maharaj, Chairman of ISKCON’s Governing Body Commission, in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
Adani also highlighted the collaboration between the Adani Group and ISKCON to provide meals to devotees during the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj, starting January 13. The group will offer Mahaprasad Seva throughout the event, which will run until February 26. Adani expressed the group’s ongoing commitment to supporting society and praised ISKCON for its vast outreach and efficient delivery systems.
During the conversation, Swami Maharaj stressed the significance of serving the Supreme with one’s life, energy, wealth, and words, as outlined in sacred scriptures. Adani acknowledged his deep connection with ISKCON, lauding its ability to provide Prasadam during the Maha Kumbh.
On social media, Adani shared his excitement about the collaboration with ISKCON, describing the Kumbh as a sacred place for service and charity. He also expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to support the event, where free meals would be provided to millions of people with the blessings of Maa Annapurna.
In addition, the Adani Group has partnered with the Geeta Press to distribute one crore copies of the ‘Aarti Sangrah’ free of charge to Kumbh devotees. Adani praised the Geeta Press for its century-long contribution to Sanatan literature, recognizing the selfless service as a form of patriotism. He reiterated that service is not only a form of prayer but also a manifestation of devotion and dedication to God.
