Bihar Poisons Liquor four Dead

One person died after consuming alcohol in Sanyas Nagar on Noorwala Road in Ludhiana on Wednesday night, while the condition of two others is critical. The family suspects that the cause of death is poisonous liquor, while the police has started the investigation.

The deceased has been identified as 40-year-old Rinku, a resident of Sanyas Nagar. The other two people who became serious after consuming alcohol have not been identified yet. The deceased’s sister-in-law Paro, said that Rinku was drinking alcohol with two others in an empty plot near the government school in Sanyas Nagar. After drinking alcohol, all three fell unconscious and started foaming at their mouths.

A passerby informed them about the incident, after which they took Rinku to the civil hospital late at night, where doctors declared him dead. The family members of the other two people took them to different hospitals. Rinku’s wife died a few years ago. He has a son and two daughters.

Police Commissioner Swapan Sharma told the media that foam is not formed from methanol used in making fake liquor. He said that the person might have died due to poisoning. The cause of death will be ascertained after the postmortem.
