Srinagar: In a shocking news, a massive fire broke out in a remote village of Mulwarwan in Kishtwar’s Warwan tehsil. As per reports, more than three dozen houses were gutted in this fire. The fire swept through the village and spread rapidly leaving trail of devastation behind. Fortunately, no loss of live has been been reported so far.
As soon as it was known about the fire, fire tenders were called. In response to the emergency, fire tenders were immediately dispatched from Kokernag in the nearby Anantnag district.
The reason behind what caused fire is not known yet but as per reports, it is said that fire originated from a house where hay was stored as cattle food. The hay caught fire and spread rapidly and also spread in the nearby houses.
With the help of local people, Volunteers and Police officials, the fire was brought under control. Over three dozen houses were gutted in a village having a total of 90 houses.
