Gidderbaha (Punjab): Balkaur Singh, the father of the late singer Shubhdeep Singh, known as Sidhu Moosewala, stated today that his son lived an additional two years largely due to the support of PCC chief and MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring. He urged the public to vote for Congress candidate Amrita Warring.
Speaking to a gathering in a village, Balkaur Singh expressed, “What wrong did my son do? He uplifted our family through his music. Yet, he faced enemies from the moment he started his career. Later, he ventured into politics. He was able to live two extra years thanks to Raja Warring, as the Congress was in power then. However, the policies of the AAP government ultimately led to his demise. The BJP also shares responsibility, as both the state and central governments failed to ensure law and order. I encourage everyone to question AAP leaders about their connections to gangsters, who are posting videos from prison on social media.”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira also held some programmes in villages here today.
