Ludhiana: The Ludhiana police have arrested the notorious criminal Sagar Neutron, who is facing multiple FIRs for heinous crimes, including a murder case involving an elderly woman. Sagar was apprehended in Uttar Pradesh, bringing an end to his attempts to evade the authorities.
Sagar Neutron has been a figure of significant criminal activity in the district. Just last month, in July, the Dugri Police had booked him and his associates for opening fire at the main gate of a rival in Karnail Singh Nagar, Dugri. Later, in the month, the team of CIA of Ludhiana police arrested Sagar Neutron’s brother Sumit Kumar alias Ultron along with two more members when they were hatching a conspiracy to execute robbery.
Earlier, on June 25, Sagar Neutron posted a video on social media, offering to surrender if the police released his wife, who had been arrested in connection with the elderly woman’s murder on June 22. In the video, he implied that his willingness to surrender hinged on his wife’s release, attempting to negotiate with the authorities.
