PM Modi  to unveil number of projects in Varanasi today

Varanasi : On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will present a number of projects in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi that span a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, transportation, waterways, sports, and cultural heritage.

The overall development of the area as well as job possibilities are the goals of these projects.

Three major events are on his itinerary: two public gatherings during the Ravidas Jayanti celebrations in Seer Goverdhanpur, the birthplace of Sant Ravidas; another in Karkhiyaon, where he will unveil 36 projects valued Rs 14,316 crore.

He will also congratulate the winners of the Sansad photography competition, Sansad quiz contest, and Sansad Sanskrit competition at Banaras Hindu University (BHU)’s Swatantrata Bhawan.

At a function at BHU’s Swatantra Bhawan, Prime Minister Modi will meet and present prizes to the winners of a number of competitions, including Sansad Khel (Sports), Sansad Photography, Sansad Knowledge, and Sansad Sanskrit.

After that, he will travel to Seer Goverdhanpur for the Ravidas Jayanti celebrations, where he will inaugurate finished projects, unveil a beautiful 25-foot bronze statue of Sant Ravidas, and lay the cornerstone for a museum honoring the poet-saint from the 15th century.

His last destination is Karkhiyaon, where he will give a speech to the audience and officially open the Amul dairy plant. All other finished projects and the foundation stones for new initiatives will be formally introduced at Karkhiyaon, while the projects at the birthplace of Sant Ravidas will be unveiled separately.
