PM to address BAPS Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav today

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to deliver a virtual address at the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav, a significant event celebrating 50 years of dedicated service by volunteers of the Bochasanwasi Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan (BAPS) Sanstha.

Taking place at the renowned Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the celebration honors the commitment of over 100,000 volunteers who have helped foster a global community centered on service, devotion, and spirituality.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, and other state Cabinet members will also be present. The Prime Minister’s address will acknowledge the tireless efforts and sacrifices of the volunteers who have upheld the vision of Pramukh Swami Maharaj.

Brahmvihari Swami of BAPS reflected on the organization’s volunteer journey, which began in 1972 with just 11 active members from India, the US, the UK, and Africa. He emphasized that this gathering is not about showcasing strength but rather an expression of gratitude, noting that the organization now boasts nearly 100,000 karyakars. Volunteers from over 30 countries, including those in Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Africa, are participating in this milestone event.

The program will feature elaborate performances by more than 2,000 volunteers, focusing on the theme of “seed, tree, and fruits,” symbolizing the growth and impact of selfless service. Engaging presentations, videos, and narratives will highlight the remarkable contributions of the volunteers, with props crafted in Raysan, Sarangpur, and Shahibaug to enhance the event’s visual experience.

Set against the backdrop of the world’s largest cricket stadium, the Karyakar Suvarna Mahotsav emphasizes the strength of collective devotion and service, reflecting the legacy of the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha.
