Chandigarh: Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has called a high level meeting today (Tuesday) regarding law and order. The meeting will be held at 12:30 pm at the CM residence in Chandigarh. SSPs of all the districts will be present in the meeting. During this, the focus will be especially on the districts of the border area. Along with this, further strategy will be prepared.
CM has returned from Delhi election campaign
After the completion of the Delhi election campaign, CM Bhagwant Mann has reached Punjab Chandigarh. After this, he has called this meeting. This meeting is being considered very important. During this, the crime graph of all the districts will be discussed. Feedback of the officials will also be taken on the orders issued by the High Court recently. Apart from this, there will also be a discussion about the attacks on police posts in the border areas. On the other hand, a cabinet meeting has been called by the CM.
DGP had visited Pathankot
Even before this, CM Bhagwant Mann used to hold meetings with SSP and DC after some interval. However, he got busy with civic elections first and then Delhi elections. Due to this, he could not hold meetings. However, DGP Gaurav Yadav was fully active. He is continuously visiting border areas. He was in Pathankot even yesterday.
