According to the Meteorological Center, there will not be much change in the temperature of the plains of Punjab today. The Meteorological Center has issued an alert for Wednesday. A western disturbance is active in Iran and two cyclonic winds are active in the border of Pakistan.
Due to which there is a possibility of light to moderate rain in Punjab on Wednesday. There are also chances of storm at many places. Due to the western disturbance, after Wednesday, once again a yellow alert of dense fog has also been issued on January 23-24. During this time, visibility can remain around 50 to 100 meters in the entire state.
17 percent less rain recorded
After January 18, a new western disturbance has become active. Earlier three western disturbances were active. Even after four western disturbances, 17 percent less rain has been recorded in the state. According to the Meteorological Center, this situation is normal.
According to the data, 10.1 mm of rain occurs in the first 20 days of January, but till now only 8.1 mm of rain has fallen in the state. If there is good rain in the state on January 22, then it is estimated that 17 percent of the shortage of rain can be overcome.
