Punjabi Youths meet with accident in Chamba as car falls in deep gorge; one dead, 3 injured

Chamba: In Chamba, Himachal Pradesh, the car of devotees from Punjab went out of control and fell into a deep gorge. One youth died in this tragic accident, while 3 were seriously injured. After first aid at Dalhousie Hospital, the injured were referred to Chamba Medical College.

According to the information, 2 brothers along with their 2 friends, residents of Phillaur, Jalandhar in Punjab, were going for the Mani Mahesh Yatra. Today morning at around 5:30, their car met with an accident on the Pathankot-Bharmaur highway. With the help of local people, the deceased and the injured were pulled out of the gorge and taken to the hospital.

One friend died in this. The deceased has been identified as Sandeep Kumar. Karan, Rahul and Sanjay Kumar are undergoing treatment at Chamba Hospital. The four youths were going to Bharmour in a car. The reasons for the accident are not yet known.

Let us tell you that devotees from all over the country reach here for the Mani Mahesh Yatra. August 26 was the auspicious time for Chhota Shahi Snan. All the four youths were also going to Mani Mahesh for a small royal bath. But unfortunately before reaching Mani Mahesh, their car met with an accident.
