Monali Thakur has refuted recent claims suggesting she was rushed to hospital during a live performance at the Dinhata Festival in Cooch Behar on 21 January.

Mumbai: Monali Thakur, renowned for songs like Moh Moh Ke Dhaage and Sawaar Loon, experienced breathlessness during a live performance at a music festival in West Bengal. She was rushed to Dinhata Sub-District Hospital and later transferred to a private hospital in Cooch Behar. Her team has yet to release an official statement, but reports confirm she is receiving medical care.

This incident follows a controversy weeks ago when Monali criticised poor management at her Varanasi concert, which she abandoned midway due to safety concerns and mistreatment. She called out the event organisers for negligence and unethical practices, sharing an apology letter from them on her social media.
