Mumbai: Actress and former beauty queen Sushmita Sen is gearing up for the upcoming year with a stunning “new look.”
In an Instagram video, Sushmita showcased her latest haircut, opting for a short style with bangs. She captioned the post: “New year… New look!!! 2025 ready for you!! A magical year is coming…I hope you feel it too!! Embrace the change, celebrate the new, it’s all happening!!! ‘The optimistic me with a different look yet the same outlook’ I love you guys!!!”
On December 19, Sushmita celebrated her father’s birthday, sharing a touching message accompanied by a photo of them together, referring to him as the “nicest human being.” She wrote: “Happpppyyyyy Birthday to the nicest human being, I am blessed to call my Father!!! On the professional side, Sushmita was last seen in the highly praised series “Aarya 3,” where she played a strong woman navigating a treacherous world of crime to protect her family. The show gained international recognition, with its debut season nominated for “Best Drama Series” at the International Emmy Awards.
Sushmita made history in 1994 by being crowned Miss Universe, the first Indian woman to win the title. She made her acting debut in 1996 with the thriller Dastak, followed by notable films such as Biwi No. 1, Sirf Tum, Filhaal…, Aankhen, Main Hoon Na, and Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? After a break, she starred in the drama series Aarya and portrayed transgender activist Shreegauri Sawant in the miniseries Taali.
