Ludhiana: In Ludhiana, a delivery boy riding a bike fell from a bridge. Due to which he lost his life. The height of the bridge is about 70 feet. The young man who died used to do delivery for Swiggy company. He was going home at night after delivering food, when suddenly his bike broke down.
When he started fixing the bike on the bridge, the driver of a speeding car coming from behind hit him hard, due to which he fell down the bridge. The speed of the car was so high. He died due to serious head injuries. The name of the deceased youth is Akash Malhotra.
Akash got married in 2021
Giving information to the police, Gurvinder Singh told that his brother-in-law Akash got married in 2021. After 4 years, some time ago, he had a son. Akash used to work as a Swiggy delivery boy with his partner Harvinder Singh. He was returning home after delivering some goods. As soon as he reached the Basti Jodhewal bridge, his motorcycle suddenly stopped.
Akash was trying to start the motorcycle when a speeding car driver from behind was driving his car carelessly. He hit brother-in-law Akash very hard. Due to which he overturned and fell down from the bridge along with the bike.
Akash was taken to the civil hospital for treatment but the doctors declared him dead. In this case, the police of Tibba police station has registered a case against the accused Sunil Kumar, resident of Guru Arjun Dev Nagar. The accused is currently out of police custody.
