Delhi: Three AC Mechanics Dead and One Unconscious in Dakshinpuri Rental Room

New Delhi: In Dakshinpuri near Ambedkar Nagar in South Delhi, police found the bodies of three air-conditioner (AC) mechanics and a fourth man unconscious in their rented apartment. The unconscious individual is currently receiving treatment at a government hospital.

Authorities have ruled out foul play and believe the cause of death may be suffocation, although the exact circumstances leading to the suffocation remain unclear, according to a senior police official. All four individuals were AC mechanics, aged between 20 and 25.

The incident came to light after Zishan, a resident of Bhalswa Dairy in Outer Delhi, contacted the police control room when his relative Imran, also known as Salman, stopped answering his calls. Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Ankit Chauhan explained that a police team reached the locked residence where Salman’s brother was living on the first floor with three other men. The police broke open the door and discovered Salman lying unconscious along with Mohsin, Haseeb (who was being treated), and another unidentified person inside the room.

All four men were taken to Ambedkar Hospital, then transferred to AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital. Three of them were pronounced dead, while the fourth was still receiving treatment, Chauhan added.
