Trump’s swearing-in ceremony to be held inside the Parliament

Washington: The swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected President Donald Trump will be held inside the US Capitol Hill (Parliament) on Monday, January 20, instead of in the open due to severe cold. According to Reuters, this will be the first time in 40 years that the swearing-in ceremony of the US President will be held inside the Parliament. The temperature is expected to be minus 7 degrees Celsius during Trump’s swearing-in.

Trump said on his Truth social platform on Friday that there is a storm in the Arctic (near the North Pole) in the country. I do not want people to get injured in any way. That is why I have ordered the inaugural speech to be given in the Capitol Rotunda (a circular room built inside the Capitol Hill building) in addition to prayers and other speeches.

Trump said, “Everyone will be safe, everyone will be happy and together we will make America great again.”

Earlier in 1985, Ronald Reagan’s second swearing-in was also held in the Capitol Rotunda. At that time the temperature was between minus 23 to minus 29 degrees Celsius. The Capitol Rotunda is under the dome in the Capitol Hill Building. It is connected to the corridors leading to both houses of the US Parliament.

America is grappling with the polar vortex

Many states of America are currently grappling with severe cold winds. The main reason for this is believed to be the polar vortex. Polar vortexes flow counterclockwise. Due to geographical structure, the polar vortex usually revolves around the North Pole, but when it moves south, it brings severe cold in America, Europe and Asia.

When the polar vortex is going on, going out of the house can prove to be very dangerous. At this time, going out without a winter kit can cause a heart attack within 5 to 7 minutes.

Apart from this, the skin can freeze. In such weather, even vehicles do not start. The only way to avoid this is to stay indoors when polar winds are blowing.

Some research has shown that the Arctic is warming rapidly in the last few years, due to which the polar vortex is shifting southwards.

India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Anil Ambani will attend

An emergency meeting of law enforcement officials has been called to conduct Trump’s swearing-in ceremony inside the building. Members of the US Congress (Parliament) have also been informed about this.

Trump will take oath as the 47th President of America. Earlier, he has served as the 45th President between 2017 and 2021. Apart from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar from India, foreign ministers of QUAD countries will also be present at Trump’s swearing-in. Apart from Elon Musk, among American industrialists, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and Sam Altman may be present.

Apart from this, industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his wife Nita Ambani will also attend the swearing-in ceremony of Donald Trump.
