Mumbai: Venkatesh Daggubati has shared touching moments from the wedding of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, offering his blessings to the newlyweds. The Telugu superstar posted several photos on Instagram, showcasing joyful moments with Naga Chaitanya and his family. One notable image features Venkatesh placing a kala tika on Naga Chaitanya, while another includes his nephew, actor Rana Daggubati. Venkatesh captioned the post with, “Celebrating love, happiness and family #SoChay.”
Prior to their wedding, Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala visited the Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple in Andhra Pradesh, accompanied by Naga Chaitanya’s father, Nagarjuna. Naga Chaitanya wore a traditional white pancha, Sobhita chose a yellow saree, and Nagarjuna donned a kurta and pyjama for the occasion.
The wedding itself was a lavish celebration in Hyderabad, attended by many prominent figures from the Telugu film industry. Naga Chaitanya honored his grandfather, the legendary Akkineni Nageswara Rao, by wearing a traditional pancha reminiscent of his grandfather’s style. Sobhita Dhulipala adorned herself with traditional jewelry passed down from her mother and grandmother during the significant Raata ceremony, a pre-wedding ritual in Telugu culture. This ceremony involves planting a bamboo stick with sacred leaves and worshiping it to bless the bride before her marriage.
Naga Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu, but the couple announced their separation in 2021 after four years of marriage.
