Delhi: Vicky Kaushal is currently preparing for the release of Chhaava, a historical drama directed by Laxman Utekar, in which he portrays Maratha king Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Starring alongside Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna, the film is set to hit cinemas on 14th February.
However, beyond Chhaava, fans are eagerly awaiting his next big project, Love & War, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. In a recent interview, Kaushal shared his excitement about collaborating with Bhansali for the first time and reuniting with his Raazi and Sanju co-stars, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.
Speaking about his experience, Vicky expressed how comfortable he feels working with Alia and Ranbir, having previously shared the screen with them in separate films in 2018. He described them as “very easy actors” and praised their talent, adding that working on Love & War has been an enjoyable experience. While he remained tight-lipped about the film’s details, he revealed that he is eagerly looking forward to both Chhaava and Love & War.
Beyond these two highly anticipated films, Vicky Kaushal is also set to star in Mahavatar, directed by Amar Kaushik, where he will portray Chiranjeevi Parashurama. With such an exciting line-up, the actor continues to establish himself as one of the most versatile performers in the Hindi film industry.
