Lucknow: Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh  Yogi Adityanath on Sunday congratulated team India for winning the ICC Champions Trophy title by defeating New Zealand with four wickets at Dubai.

In his post on X, CM Aditiyanath wrote.

“Congratulations to the champions. Hearty congratulations to the countrymen! The country is proud of every player of the Indian cricket team who made the festive season more colourful and joyous with the colours of victory by winning the Champions Trophy. Infinite good wishes for a bright future for all of you. Jai Hind,” the post further reads.

A swift half-century from skipper Rohit Sharma, fine knocks by Shreyas Iyer and fine spells from spinners, in particular Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav, helped an all-round India seal their third ICC Champions Trophy title, beating New Zealand by four wickets in Dubai on Sunday.
