Lucknow Hospital Death: Woman Falls From Fourth Floor

Lucknow, April 13: A female patient died after falling from the fourth floor of a private hospital in Lucknow. Following the incident, her family members created a massive uproar at the hospital. They accused the hospital administration of murdering the woman. Conversely, the hospital authorities have stated that the woman committed suicide by jumping.

Woman Dies After Fall at Lucknow Hospital, Probe On

The entire incident took place on Monday morning at Prasad Hospital, located in Junabganj within the jurisdiction of the Banthra police station. The deceased woman has been identified as Sita Dixit (32), a resident of Kishunpur Kaudiya in Banthra. Her husband, Abhay Dixit, works as a contractual bus driver for the Roadways Corporation; on his days off, he drives an auto-rickshaw in the local area.

It is reported that Sita Dixit had been suffering from mental health issues for some time and was undergoing treatment at Prasad Hospital. She had been admitted to the hospital once again last Sunday.

Found Unconscious on the Ground Below in the Morning

It is reported that Sita Dixit had arrived at the hospital on her own the previous day Sunday after feeling unwell. Upon receiving the news, her husband, Abhay, also rushed to the hospital. Sita was admitted to the general ward located on the fourth floor. Abhay stayed overnight in the ward with her.

Around 3:00 AM, Abhay dozed off. Shortly thereafter, Sita left the room and wandered away. Around 6:00 AM, Sita was found lying unconscious on the ground directly beneath the general ward. Abhay was subsequently informed of the discovery. As soon as it was confirmed that Sita had died, her family members rushed to the scene and created a commotion.
