In Jalandhar’s Model Town, Lucky Oberoi’s family and local residents held a massive candlelight march demanding justice. The march was led by the deceased’s wife and mother, and was attended by a large number of people. The family alleges that the man arrested by the police as the main accused could not have carried out this crime alone.
The family has demanded a thorough investigation, suspecting a conspiracy by an influential person or leader and a ‘contract killing’. Jalandhar’s Model Town area witnessed emotional scenes as hundreds of people took to the streets demanding justice for Lucky Oberoi.
Supari (contract killing) was a key factor in the protest. Supporters and relatives, holding candles, expressed their anger against the administration and demanded the arrest of the real mastermind of the murder. The atmosphere during the march became even more emotional when Lucky Oberoi’s wife and mother appealed for justice.
Speaking to the media, Lucky Oberoi’s wife raised serious questions about the police investigation. She stated clearly that although the police are pointing to an accused named Joga as the main culprit, the entire incident was not solely his fault.
The victim’s wife claims that a deep conspiracy is behind this murder, and that some influential person or politician had her husband killed by giving him a contract. She alleged that until this entire network is exposed and the conspirators are brought to justice, her family will not receive true justice.
The victim’s family appeals to the police
The victim’s family has appealed to the police administration to speed up the investigation. They alleged that many crucial aspects of the investigation are still being overlooked and the real killers remain beyond the reach of the law due to influential people.
The family has warned that if the real culprits hiding behind the scenes are not arrested soon, they will intensify their struggle.
