Mahendragarh: A young man riding a motorcycle died in a road accident in the Nangal Chaudhary police station area of Mahendragarh district. Based on a complaint from the deceased’s cousin, police have registered a case against an unknown pickup driver and launched an investigation.
In his complaint to the police, Kuldeep, stated that he works in the Irrigation Department. Yesterday morning, around 4 a.m., he had gone for a walk toward Muraripur. On his way back, when he reached near Rajesh’s fields, he saw his uncle’s son, Amit, coming from Muraripur on a bike.
Hit from behind
Meanwhile, a pickup driver, driving recklessly and at high speed, came from behind and hit Amit’s bike from behind. Amit, along with his bike, fell into the field and was crushed under the bike. When Kuldeep arrived at the scene, Amit was already dead on the spot.
Post-mortem of the dead body
Upon receiving information about the incident, police arrived at the scene and called in a scene of crime team. Based on the complaint, police registered a case against the unidentified pickup driver under sections 106 and 281 of the Indian Penal Code and initiated an investigation. A post-mortem examination was conducted at the Civil Hospital and the body was handed over to the family.
