AAP Kisan Wing president shot dead in Khanna

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Kisan Wing President Tarlochan Singh was shot dead in Khanna on Monday evening.

According to reports, Tarlochan Singh was returning home from his farm when unidentified assailants opened fire on him. He was found lying on the roadside in a pool of blood by his son, Harpreet Singh Happy, and other villagers, who rushed him to the Civil Hospital in Khanna where doctors declared him dead on arrival.

Tarlochan Singh had a history of political involvement in the village, having previously contested the Sarpanch election, although he was unsuccessful. After joining the Aam Aadmi Party, he was appointed President of the party’s Kisan Wing. He had been preparing to contest the upcoming Sarpanch election when this fatal attack occurred. His son, Harpreet, believes that his father’s murder was motivated by enmity.

Following the incident, a police team led by SP Investigation Saurav Jindal, DSP Khanna Amritpal Singh Bhati, and CIA staff in-charge Amandeep Singh, arrived at the scene in Ikolahi village to begin their investigation. While the motive behind the murder remains unclear, police are exploring all possible angles and have assured that the perpetrators will be traced and arrested soon.
