Fazilka (Punjab): Fazilka Bhairon Basti, younger brother killed the elder over a girl. It is being told that the girl was in contact with both the brothers. The girl was having affair with both the brothers There was a fight between them over this issue when both were drunk. During this fight, the younger brother killed the elder brother by hitting him with a brick.
The deceased’s sister Komal told that a girl was in contact with both her brothers Ajay Kumar and Shiva. The girl was talking to both the brothers. When they came to know about this, there was a fight between the two. Due to the fight under the influence of alcohol, this matter turned into a bloody confrontation because of the girl.
On the other hand, the deceased’s father Darshan Kashyap said that both his sons are addicts of alcohol and they often used to fight among themselves after drinking alcohol. Last night he went to sleep in his room, while his two sons Ajay Kumar and Shiva went to the slum near Hadda Rodi. There, both of them had a fight at night. During this, Ajay Kumar hit his elder brother Shiva with a brick when he fell on the ground and then attacked him with a stone and killed him.
After killing his elder brother, Ajay Kumar called his 19-year-old sister working in Ludhiana and told her that he had killed his brother Shiva. Murder accused also took a photo of Shiva’s body from his mobile and sent it to her.
Investigating officer SHO Manjeet Singh said that the police has taken the body of the deceased into custody and registered a case against the accused Shiva under section 304 IPC 105 BNS Act on the statement of Darshan Kashyap.
