Today, we have become the fourth-largest economy in the world, and within a year or two, we are set to become the third-largest.
There are no limits to the flight of dreams. The nation’s investors, producers and workers are all committed to its progress. By 2047, when India celebrates the centenary of its independence, the country will have become a fully developed nation. Today, India is growing at one of the fastest economic paces in the world.
We are progressing with the resolve to build a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) by 2047. We are poised to become a leading economic power. Every patriotic Indian cherishes the dream of building a prosperous, self-respecting India and seeing the Tricolour flying in every home.
As joyful Indians across the country collectively raise the Tricolour, with the flag in every hand and the spirit of patriotism rising, people will look with respect towards our soldiers and sanitation workers. Moving beyond the constraints of past administrative systems, the nation is advancing towards new milestones, with citizens proudly applying the soil of their motherland to their foreheads and singing ‘Vande Mataram’.
This is a momentous time for the motherland. Along with the National Anthem, ‘Jana Gana Mana’, the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ has also become an integral part of the celebrations. The song embodies deep reverence for the nation and its freedom, while its stirring strains inspire a spirit of sacrifice for the country.
Let us salute our soldiers. For every Indian, the Tricolour stands as a symbol of the nation’s highest priority—the willingness to lay down one’s life for the country. While China continues to engage in hostile actions, including border aggression, and Pakistan continues to encourage infiltration and terrorism, our soldiers remain ever-ready to combat every militant threat and protect the citizens of India.
