‘Anna-Seva’ on Nita Ambani’s 60th birthday, 1.4 lakh meals distributed across the country

Reliance Foundation founder and chairperson Nita Ambani celebrated her 60th birthday on 1 November. On this occasion, food was given to 1.4 lakh people from 15 states under Anna Seva. Cooked food was served to about 75 thousand people through Anna Seva and raw ration was distributed for about Rs. 65 thousand.

Food was served to children, elderly people living in old age homes, daily wage earners, people from transgender community, leprosy patients and people with special needs. From food distribution to serving hot food at various locations, all the work was done by Reliance volunteers. Nita Ambani celebrated her birthday with about 3000 children from underprivileged society.

Let us tell you that during the Corona epidemic, Nita Ambani’s Reliance Foundation had run the largest food distribution program of that time in the name of Anna Seva. According to the Foundation, food distribution on Nita Ambani’s birthday is an extension of the same tradition.
