Later, he will return to the guest house for discussions with representatives from farmers, trade associations, and industrialists. On December 20, CM Stalin will participate in a function in Solar at 10 A.M., inaugurate completed projects, and lay the foundation for new ones in the district. He will also distribute welfare assistance amounting to Rs 284 crore to 50,088 beneficiaries and address the attendees.

Afterward, he will return to Coimbatore at 11:30 A.M. and catch a flight to Chennai at 2 P.M. This visit is part of CM Stalin’s district-level outreach programs, aimed at interacting with the public and party members to gather grassroots feedback and shape the DMK’s strategy for the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Stalin initiated this outreach with a visit to Coimbatore on November 5 and 6, as the DMK aims to secure victories in 200 out of 234 Assembly constituencies in the upcoming elections. He has directed party cadres to engage actively with the public to showcase the welfare schemes implemented by the DMK.

To support this goal, the DMK has assigned full-time workers to all 234 Assembly constituencies in Tamil Nadu, with half selected based on their performance in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, where the DMK-led INDIA bloc achieved a historic win, securing all 39 seats in Tamil Nadu and the sole seat in Puducherry.

A core team of DMK leaders, including Youth Wing leader and Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, along with state ministers Thangam Thenarasu, E.V. Velu, and party organizing secretary R.S. Bharathi, has been tasked with overseeing the election strategy. Udhayanidhi Stalin is managing daily operations to ensure the party meets its target of 200 Assembly seats in 2026, as the DMK currently holds 133 seats and is working diligently toward this ambitious objective.
