Anantnag: Terrorists kidnapped an Indian Army soldier in Shangas area of Kokernag in Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. One soldier managed to escape and return by dodging. The Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police are conducting a search operation in search of the other soldier. The Territorial Army soldier has been kidnapped by terrorists from forest area of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per ANI Sources, “Two jawans of the Territorial Army were abducted by terrorists in the forest area of Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir. However, one of the jawans has managed to come back. Security forces have launched an operation to search for the missing jawan.”
In the year 2020, terrorists kidnapped Territorial Army soldier Shakir Manzoor Wage in Kashmir. 5 days after this incident, the family found Shakir’s clothes near the house. This incident took place on 2 August. Then 24-year-old Shakir Wage went missing near his house in Harman, Shopian in South Kashmir.
Shakir was posted in 162-TA in Balapur in South Kashmir. Shakir had gone to his home on Bakrid. Along with kidnapping, the terrorists also burnt the soldier’s car. Even after a lot of search, he could not be traced. A year later, in September, Shakir’s body was found in Kulgam district. After investigation, the police contacted Shakir’s family. During this, his father Manzoor Ahmed Wage had said that after identifying the body, it was found that it was his son Shakir, who had gone missing a year ago.
Security forces foiled an infiltration attempt on the Line of Control (LoC) in Gugaldhar in the Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir. The army and police killed two terrorists.
The Chinar Corps of the Indian Army said that on October 4, the army and police noticed a suspicious activity. After this, a joint operation was started.
During this, the terrorists opened fire. Two terrorists were killed in retaliatory action by the security forces. A large number of weapons and ammunition were recovered from them.
