BJP North-East Delhi candidate Manoj Tiwari to file nomination on May 1, Rajnath Singh to remain present

New Delhi: Incumbent Member of Parliament and BJP Candidate from North-East Delhi Manoj Tiwari will file his nomination for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on May 1. As per reports, Union Minister Rajnath Singh will be present with him during the filing of the nomination.

The Nomination process for the seven seats of the National Capital began from today. Against Tiwari, Congress has fielded Kanhaiya Kumar from the North-East Delhi seat.

Election in New Delhi

The National Capital will undergo polling on May 25th in the sixth phase. The Election Commission of India issued a notification for the sixth phase today. The process of nomination began today and will end on May 6th.

The Sixth phase of the election will witness polling for 57 Lok Sabha seats across six states and one Union Territory, including Bihar, Haryana, Jharkhand, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, and New Delhi.
