Two minors came to Neema Hospital late at night on October 2. One of them had an injury on his toe. After getting the dressing done, he asked to meet the doctor to get the prescription. Both of them went to Doctor Javed’s cabin and fled after shooting him.

The police got information about the incident on a call at 1.45 am. When the police reached, Javed Akhtar’s body was found lying on his chair. In the CCTV footage, both the accused were seen entering and exiting the hospital.
