New Delhi: BJP leader Tarun Chugh asserted that Delhi’s double-engine government is operating in mission mode. He criticized both the Congress and Aam Aadmi Party for halting the development of the national capital for 27 years, claiming that during their tenure, progress in Delhi was stalled. Chugh declared that the BJP aims to transform Delhi into a world-class city and expressed confidence in fulfilling all promises made to the city’s residents, addressing former Chief Ministers Atishi and Arvind Kejriwal.

Chugh went on to discuss Punjab’s situation, stating that no commitments have been met in the past three years, indicating that the countdown for the current government in Punjab has begun. He emphasized that the government’s lack of progress is apparent.

Similarly, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta responded to opposition criticism of the newly established Delhi Government. She noted that her administration held a cabinet meeting on its first day and promptly approved the Ayushman Bharat Yojana, which had previously been stalled by the AAP, thereby providing benefits worth ₹10 lakhs to the people of Delhi.

Additionally, Delhi Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh highlighted that the main focus of the new BJP government is to implement the promises made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He stressed the urgency of rolling out the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi and outlined other priorities, including addressing issues related to polluted water, potholes, transportation, and hospitality.
