Dhirendra Krishna Shastri Promotes Hindu Unity at Maha Kumbh

Prayagraj: Dhirendra Krishna Shastri, the head of Bageshwar Dham, has made a notable appearance at the Maha Kumbh festival, where he is set to take part in the sacred Amrit Snan. Speaking to journalists, he underscored the presence of numerous saints from across the country and the vast crowd gathered at the event, emphasizing his mission to awaken the Hindu community for the salvation of India.

“We have come to take a dip in the Sangam, to witness the great personalities present here,” Shastri stated. He characterized the ongoing Amrit Utsav as extraordinary and expressed that they would share their experiences after participating in the ceremonial dip. Shastri reiterated his commitment to promoting Sanatan culture and urged Hindus to unite in order to transform India into a Hindu nation.

As part of his address, he noted that a three-day storytelling event at the Maha Kumbh aims to inspire Hindus and reinforce their collective identity. He emphasized that, in the eyes of God, everyone is equal and deserving.

The Maha Kumbh has attracted millions of devotees, with reports indicating that over 10.80 crore individuals have already taken the holy dip. With the auspicious Mauni Amavasya approaching on January 29, officials anticipate another ten crore devotees to gather at the Sangam in Prayagraj. In anticipation of the large turnout, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the administration to ramp up preparations for the event.

CM Yogi himself has participated in the Kumbh festivities, taking a dip along with his cabinet on January 22, following a meeting in Prayagraj that approved various development plans for the region.
