DTC Bus with 50 passengers aboard catches fire in Jagatpuri, passengers evacuated safely

New Delhi: Incidents of fire in DTC and cluster buses running on the roads of Delhi are coming to the fore every day. The latest case has come to light from Jagatpuri area of ​​East Delhi where a Blue Line low floor DTC bus full of passengers caught fire in the morning.

The fire in the bus was so intense that it turned into a ball of fire in a few minutes and started burning fiercely. Fortunately, all the passengers in the bus are completely safe.

Gutted bus by fire

They were taken off the bus on time. A bike rider coming from behind informed the driver about the fire in the bus. Immediately after this, the driver stopped the bus and took out all the passengers safely. Fire tenders were called and they brought the fierce fire under control.

Due to fire in the bus, traffic was affected adversely. Following this, there was a long jam of several kilometers in the Jagatpuri, Preet Vihar, Patparganj area of the city.
