Excise Policy Case: Delhi Court extends Manish Sisodia’s judicial custody till July 15

AAP leader and former deputy Chief Minister of Delhi Manish Sisodia was presented in Delhi’s Rouse Avenue court today. Sisodia’s judicial custody ended today in the CBI case of Delhi Excise Policy. Rouse Avenue court extended the custody till July 15 after which Manish Sisodia was taken back.

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has extended the judicial custody of former Deputy CM Manish Sisodia till July 15 in the CBI case related to liquor policy. Rouse Avenue Court had earlier extended Sisodia’s custody till July 6. His custody was ending today. After appearing in court, he was taken back to Tihar.

On July 3, a Delhi court extended Sisodia’s judicial custody till July 25 in the money laundering case related to liquor policy. The CBI arrested Sisodia on February 26, 2023. The ED arrested him on March 9, 2023 during judicial custody. Sisodia has been in Tihar Jail since then.
