Police officials confirmed the incident visits to the scene after getting information about the recovered body, which has been sent for post-mortem examination.

The police have identified the woman as Sulekha Devi, and was a resident of Bhurai village under the Teesri police station area. Her husband, Amarjeet Sharma, works as a labourer in another state.

Preliminary investigation of the police said that she had taken a loan of Rs 50,000 from the microfinance company but was struggling to repay the loan installments.
