New Delhi: Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM) called Kisan Mazdoor Mahapanchayat at Delhi’s Ramlila ground will be held today. It is expected that a strong resolution to intensify the protest will be passed in the meeting.
Farmers in large numbers from different parts have reached through trains, buses, and other means. Delhi police granted permission to hold a meeting in Ramlila ground to SKM with the condition of having participants not more than 5,000.
Looking at the situation, Delhi Police have already cautioned the commuters and also issued a traffic advisory. SKM has said that today’s Mahapanchayat will be a peaceful gathering of farmers and Mazdoors from all over.
