New Delhi: A fire erupted in the signalling room of the Trilokpuri Sanjay Lake metro station (Pink Line) in Delhi on Monday, according to a statement from the Delhi Fire Service. Four fire tenders arrived at the scene, and efforts to extinguish the fire are currently ongoing. No casualties have been reported so far.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, and additional details are awaited.

This incident follows a similar event on June 6, when a fire broke out at an e-rickshaw charging station in Ghonda, northeast Delhi. Firefighters responded quickly with four fire engines to control that blaze as well, and the cause of that fire is also still under investigation.
