More than 60 flights cancelled across the country due to Iran-Israel war

New Delhi, June 24: The Iran-Israel war is affecting flights to and from India and the Middle East. Due to rising tensions and airspace closure, more than 60 flights have been cancelled so far. 48 flights from Delhi airport have been cancelled. Out of these, 28 flights were scheduled to arrive in Delhi and 20 were scheduled to depart from Delhi.

6 flights have been cancelled from Jaipur airport. These include 3 flights each going to and coming from Middle East. 2 flights going to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah from Lucknow airport have been cancelled due to closure of UAE-Qatar airspace.

5 flights coming to Ahmedabad airport have been cancelled. These include flights coming from London, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Kuwait and Doha. At the same time, flight SG-55 going to Dubai from Amritsar airport has also been cancelled.

In fact, on the night of June 23, Iran fired 6 missiles at the US Al-Udeid Air Military Base in Qatar to avenge the attacks on its nuclear bases. After this, Qatar, Bahrain, UAE, Iraq and Kuwait temporarily closed their airspace.

SpiceJet – Some flights may be affected due to closure of Middle East airspace.

Akasa Air – Due to the current situation, flights to and from the Middle East may be affected. We are monitoring the situation. All flights will be operated only in safe airspace.

Flight carrying 160 Indians from Israel diverted to Kuwait

The flight carrying 160 Indians from Israel to Jordan on Sunday was diverted to Kuwait while returning to New Delhi as several airspaces are closed due to Iran’s attacks on US bases.

Flight number J91254, which departed from Amman around 2:30 pm on Monday for Kuwait and then Delhi, had to divert mid-way and return to Kuwait after the Iranian attacks on June 22.

Air India halts all flights to Middle East

Air India has immediately suspended all its flights to the Middle East after the Iranian attack on the US military base in Qatar. The airline said that we have no other flights to Qatar and no aircraft is grounded in Qatar.

Air India Express has 25 weekly flights to Doha, the capital of Qatar. It has direct services to Doha from Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Thiruvananthapuram and Tiruchirappalli. Apart from this, the airline has 8 one-stop destinations from Doha – Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
