Greek Prime Minister Kirikos Mitsotakis has reached Rashtrapati Bhavan. Here Prime Minister Narendra Modi formally welcomed him. Mitsotakis arrived in New Delhi late Tuesday night on a two-day visit to India. Minister of State for External Affairs Meenakshi Lekhi received him.
A high level delegation has also come to India along with Mitsotakis. Businessmen are also included in this. Mitsotakis will be the chief speaker of the 9th Raisina Dialogue 2024. Prime Minister Modi will inaugurate it. Before leaving for Athens, Mitsotakis will also visit Mumbai.
Raisina Dialogue is a platform for discussion on global issues. In this mainly foreign ministers of more than 100 countries meet.
Paid Tribute To Mahatma Gandhi
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis reached Rajghat with wife Mareva Grabowski-Mitsotakis. He paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi.Greece PM Mitsotakis signed the visitor’s book at Rajghat. He was also given a memento.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, it has been said that Prime Minister Modi will also host a lunch for the visiting Prime Minister of Greece. After this both the leaders will hold talks with the delegation.
