Jamshedpur: 18 coaches of Mumbai-Howrah Mail (12810) derailed at 3.43 am on Tuesday in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. As per the information, The derailed coaches collided with a goods train standing on the adjacent track. 18 coaches of the train derailed. 3 people have died in this accident, while more than 20 people are reported to be injured.
The accident took place between Rajkharsawan and Badabambo. The injured are being brought to the railway hospital in Chakradharpur. Railway officials are present on the spot.
Senior DCM of Chakradharpur Railway Division Aditya Kumar Chaudhary said that relief trains and several ambulances from the district administration have left for the accident site.
